I. Market Sales Performance
■ The sales of new energy vehicles continued to grow, and the proportion of smart car sales declined.
In October, the retail sales volume of the new energy vehicle market was 767,000 vehicles, up 37.5% year-on-year and 2.7% quarter-on-quarter, and the new energy penetration rate reached 37.7%, up 0.7 percentage points from September, reaching the highest level in history again. Following the "moderate growth" of "Jin Jiu" automobile market, the sales volume of "Silver Ten" has maintained its popularity. The fourth quarter is the peak season for new energy sales. The national and local policies to promote the consumption of new energy vehicles are expected to continue to exert their strength, new products of automobile enterprises will be listed one after another, and another round of price reduction promotion will be launched. Tesla’s sales declined in October, and Model Y’s sales fell to the fourth place in the new energy sales list. In terms of vehicle types, in the overall market of new energy, the focus on medium-sized vehicles decreased by 2.7 and 1.2 percentage points year-on-year to 8.7%, respectively, giving way to compact cars and medium-sized and large cars. Model 3, BYD Seal, Weilai ET5, Tucki P7 and other representative models in medium-sized cars have all attracted less attention. The attention of medium and large SUVs has increased year-on-year, and it has officially become the most popular SUV level. Looking at the smart electric vehicle market, the trend of concern for medium-sized cars and medium-sized SUVs is consistent with the overall new energy market. The proportion of medium and large MPVs increased by 3.2 and 0.9 percentage points year-on-year to 5.7% respectively. There are not many smart car models in this model class. In the aspect of active braking, the recent AEB dispute between Yu Chengdong and He Xiaopeng has attracted attention.
As a basic and important safety function, AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) system has attracted more and more attention from consumers, but there are great differences in the understanding and mastery of this technology among different car companies. This incident actually reflects the subdivision and iteration of intelligent driving technology. The function will not only be divided by "whether there is", but more by "whether it is strong or not". In terms of the size configuration of the car’s central control panel, the configuration ratio of the 12-15 inch central control panel is the highest, reaching 49.3%, which has become the mainstream central control panel configuration scheme for new cars at present.
■ 200,000-300,000 price points have the most new smart models.
The following figure analyzes the distribution of new cars and smart new energy vehicles in each price range. Among the new energy vehicles listed in October, none of the models with the price below 100,000 reached the smart car standard, and all the 16 new models with the price of 200,000-300,000 reached the L2 smart car standard. In the price range of 300,000-400,000, only the two models of Hechuang V09 and Lantu Dreamer failed to meet the L2-level smart car standard, while the two models with the price range of 400,000-500,000 were intelligently configured to widen the price range of the models. The average guide price of new smart cars listed is 306,000 yuan, and the median is 292,000 yuan, which is higher than last month.

In October, the top five cars in the weighted price increase of new energy car market were: Baojun Yunduo, Geely Geometry A, Extreme Krypton 001, Zero Run C01 and Flying Plug-in Hybrid. The price reduction of pure electric vehicles in Fista is due to the fact that its low-priced vehicles without L2 intelligent driving function have gained more clues, thus lowering the weighted selling price.
■ The clues of the high-priced GV60 model of Jennisseth increased, and the weighted quotation increased; The price of the new Tucki G9 is lowered.

The top five cars whose weighted selling prices have dropped are: Tucki G9, Xingyue New Energy, Feifan MARVEL R, Yize E Jin Qing and Zero Run C11. Tucki G9 is due to the listing of the new G9. Compared with the 2023 G9, the overall price has been lowered by more than 50,000 yuan, and the price reduction has brought about an increase in attention. Xingyue New Energy is the price fluctuation in the process of stopping selling. In addition, it is worth paying attention to the zero-run C11. The new configuration of the zero-run C11, which was launched in September, was upgraded and the price was lowered at the same time, making this model a popular car series at present.
